Hello to
you! Horowitz is an indiepop band from Stoke-On-Trent, UK.
Rawk!

Ian sings and
plays guitar / Matthew plays the guitar / Pete plays bass and pushes 'record'
We are into all things D.I.Y, noisy, and FUN. And twee, of course!

"Top cartoon strip popsters."
Robots and Electronic Brains
"Beneath sharp,
fuzzy guitar continuity, great tunes will out and this grips like a child might
onto the string of their first balloon. Imagine a few seconds prior to that
image, and said child shyly hiding behind the hem of their mother's skirt from
the balloon-proffering tall gentleman they're beginning to suspect may be their
father returned from a long military campaign... Horowitz are utterly
enrapturing."
Vanity Project
"There are
pavement vs.
pastels stylings, there is a bouncing
baby drum machine, there is some cracking plinkly-plonk bontempi, there are
guitar lines that meander artfully around - a bit like
sportsguitar, if you remember them -
with extra amplifier oomph for the chorus, and there is the supreme mid90s
beatniks / boyracer lo-finess which
always makes songs easier to identify with (and which, at the time, helped those
bands absolutely murder the britpop brigade). above and beyond all that though,
there are golden, catchy as hell melodies."
From In Love with These Times in Spite of These Times (kisschase.blogspot.com)
"If it was necessary to name other bands with more reputation, i'll say they can
equal Bubblegun Splash in noise, build an attitudinal pastiche like Comet Gain,
arrange the lo-fi cliches in Tullycraft, commit an enormously pop use of the
delirium like the Olivia Tremor Control, say smart words as in Hefner... these
kids are currently writing some lines in the history of the subtle pop
revolution."
